E15 is a cleaner, more-affordable fuel option — and a lifeline for rural communities. When farmers face record crop surpluses, declining prices, and rising input costs, year-round E15 creates steady markets, supports local jobs, and keeps the value of every bushel here at home. 

E15 strengthens demand when farmers need it most. Given current gasoline consumption, each 1% increase in ethanol blending will open a market for 486 million more bushels of corn.  

E15 production powers jobs and investment across America’s heartland. Studies show that nationwide adoption of E15 would create 188,000 new U.S. jobs.

Drivers save an average of 10 to 30 cents per gallon with E15, while farmers gain a more reliable market for their harvest. With nationwide E15, consumers could save an estimated $20 billion in annual fuel costs.

By expanding higher-ethanol blends, America can reduce reliance on foreign oil and cut harmful emissions – all while strengthening its agricultural backbone. In terms of carbon emissions, nationwide adoption of E15 would be the equivalent to removing approximately 3.85 million vehicles from the road.

Support the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act (S. 593/H.R. 1346) to permanently lift outdated regulations and unlock year-round E15. Farmers feed and fuel America — now it’s time to give them the stable demand they deserve.
